This isn’t one of those ‘like’ games where it’s all about getting me fake likes, it’s an official contest set up so the public has the say via a voting mechanism. Bring your own crazy high-fashion style or let the team build one for you — as mild or wild as you want. Many outfits will be available! A photo-lab printed Kodak Endura 8×10 print of your fashion makeover is included in the package along with up to 5 retouched full-resolution digital files from the photoshoot. finalizing online storefront for photo prints

John-Kester.com has been converted now and drives you right into the world of my online portfolio for photography. I’m starting with three featured galleries of past work and adding in new work as it comes. Prints of everything are available and might I suggest a metallic coat? It is gorgeous with high-contrasty images. As I add more and more images, especially studio selections, I’ll eventually pare down the content, but for now you get a raw sampling…so enjoy it while it lasts. Note that some content is NSFW and mature, but of course in the “fine art” genre, nothing done in poor taste or pornish…so just a warning.

In other news. It’s almost 2010. Sort of an arbitrary moment when nothing changes except perception (for a few hours). This year my goal is to set goals on a more regular basis. You should do the same…and enjoy it!

Giving Zenfolio a Go-Go

So, I’m a huge fan of Mpix. I’ve used too many fulfillment and printing companies to name. I’m always disappointed. I started to think my standards were too high, but I love Mpix. So they partnered with Zenfolio. My interim site is here. I’ll probably redirect to a domain I own and remove the Zenfolio references, but I’m just testing it out now. So far like what I see, but really am just doing it because I want the prints fulfilled with Mpix.

They actually offer products through a company called Fotoflot. They make these bad ass, ultra modern prints that are magnetic and seem to float without a frame. I’m very interested. So, look for an update. In the meantime, feel free to order something off there and let me know how it works out.
